🎮How To Play
Starting the Game
Step 1: Begin the Game
To start a game, use the command /play followed by the amount you want to wager in $IMPSTR tokens. For example, type /play 500 to wager 500 $IMPSTR tokens.
Step 2: Join the Game
Once a game is initiated, everyone in the group has 2 minutes to join using the join button provided.
Player Count and Role Assignment
A minimum of 4 players and a maximum of 15 players are required to play the game.
After the join window, the bot randomly selects one player as the Imposter, while the rest become Crewmates.
Each player receives a direct message (DM) from the bot, revealing their assigned role.
Night Actions
Step 5: Imposter's Turn
If you are the Imposter, you will receive a DM from the bot, granting you the option to select a target for elimination. You have 30 seconds to make your choice.
Step 6: Crewmates' Role
As a Crewmate, you can't do much at night, so you can chat in the group and jokingly ask the Imposter not to eliminate you. Just have some fun banter and hope they spare you! 😄💬
Discussion and Accusation
Step 7: Discuss and Accuse
The morning after, everyone in the group is informed of who has been killed, with that player being eliminated. The Imposter's identity remains a mystery.
You have 30 seconds to make accusations and defend yourself if you're a Crewmate. If you're the Imposter, you must ensure you're not targeted by everyone and try to convince the Crewmates that another player is the killer.
Voting and Ejection
Step 8: Cast Your Vote
After the 30-second discussion, everyone receives a DM from the bot to cast their vote for the suspected Imposter. You have 30 seconds to choose.
The player with the most votes is ejected.
Step 9: Round Progression
The game can have multiple rounds, each following a specific pattern:
If the ejected player is the Imposter, Crewmates win, and all surviving Crewmates share the rewards, including the money wagered by deceased Crewmates and the Imposter.
If the ejected player is an innocent Crewmate, the game moves to round 2.
Step 10: Round 2
In the second round, the Imposter gets to pick another target for elimination, and the cycle continues.
This process repeats until there are either the same number of Crewmates as Imposters or the Imposter is ejected.
Step 11: Final Outcome
If the Imposter ultimately wins, they claim all the wagers placed in the pot.
On the other hand, if the Crewmates secure victory, they divide the winnings equally among the surviving Crewmates, which includes the money wagered by the deceased Crewmates and the Imposter.
Now that you understand the rules of Imposter, gather your friends and prepare for a game filled with intrigue, strategy, and deception. May the best players win!
